Double or Multiple Charges
If you've noticed multiple charges from BetterWaifu, here's what might have happened and how to fix it.
Why Am I Being Charged Twice?
1. Legacy + New Subscription Overlap
If you previously subscribed through CCBill or DeviantArt and then subscribed again through our new Stripe billing, you may have two active subscriptions. The old one needs to be cancelled separately.
How to fix:
- Cancel your legacy subscription via CCBill or DeviantArt
- Keep your new Stripe subscription active
- Contact support for a refund on the duplicate charges
2. Failed Payment + Re-subscription
If a payment failed and you re-subscribed before the original charge went through, both may have processed.
How to fix:
- Contact support with your email address
- We'll cancel the duplicate and issue a refund
3. Multiple Accounts
If you have multiple BetterWaifu accounts with the same payment method, each account is billed separately.
How to Check Your Active Subscriptions
- Go to betterwaifu.com/subscription
- Check if your plan shows as Active
- Review your bank/card statement for BetterWaifu charges
Getting a Refund for Duplicate Charges
We always refund duplicate charges. To speed up the process:
- Open a ticket on our Discord
- Provide your username and email address
- Tell us which charge is the duplicate
Refunds typically process within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
Preventing Future Duplicates
- Always cancel your old plan before subscribing to a new one
- Check betterwaifu.com/subscription to verify your current plan
